Privacy Policy for Slidelock

Effective Date: 01/08/2026

1. Data collection and usage

Slidelock is built on a philosophy of simplicity, privacy, and cognitive calm. We do not require you to create an account, nor do we collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on external servers.

All Slidelock data processing—including your tasks, preferences, and slider mode settings (FOCUS, BALANCED, ENHANCED)—occurs locally on your device.

We do not handle data (sensitive or otherwise) beyond the analytics that Google Play collects, and we do not attempt to hide any data practices.

2. Third-party sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to outside parties.

Slidelock does not knowingly integrate third-party SDKs that collect personal and sensitive user data by default.

Your data is your data. End of story.

3. Health and medical disclaimer

While Slidelock is designed to assist with cognitive load management, it is strictly a productivity tool. It does not provide medical advisory services, diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical conditions.

We do not collect or request access to sensitive health data.

For medical inquiries, please consult your local GP/doctor.

4. Data retention and deletion

While SlideLock is designed to be an offline-first experience, we use industry-standard tools (Google Firebase) to ensure app stability and performance.

Local Data:

  • Your primary task data, voice notes, and personal preferences are stored exclusively on your device’s secure local storage.

You can permanently delete this data at any time by:

  • Using the “Reset to Defaults” option within the app settings.
  • Clearing the app’s data/cache in your Android system settings.

Uninstalling SlideLock entirely:

  • Diagnostics and Analytics Data: To help us improve the app and fix bugs, certain non-identifiable data is collected and transmitted via encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). This includes:

App Interactions:

  • Basic usage patterns to improve navigation.

Crash Logs & Diagnostics:

  • Technical data to identify and fix stability issues.

Device Identifiers:

  • A unique Firebase Instance ID used solely for analytics and performance monitoring.

Your Rights & Deletion Requests:

  • We do not create hidden steps for data deletion. All data transmitted to Google Firebase is encrypted in transit.

If you wish to request the deletion of any diagnostic or analytics data associated with your device ID, please contact us at pocaproductionsapp@gmail.com, and we will process your request within 30 days.

5. Children’s privacy

Slidelock is a general audience productivity application and is not directed at children.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone – especially those under the age of 13.

6. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
